Urgent Care Physician

We are seeking FT/PT board eligible/certified Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physicians to join our team at two of our locations-Pompton Plains NJ and South Amboy, NJ.

Job Duties

  • We offer state-of-the-art facility with onsite X-ray, labs, and EMR in a comfortable and rewarding environment. Positions open for immediate start.
  • Industry leading compensation and Malpractice will be covered with an A rated policy. Starting salary commensurate with urgent care physician/ doctor experience, with an opportunity for additional bonuses.
  • Traditional urgent care setting-must be comfortable with standard UC procedures and practice sees all ages. Prior Urgent care physician/ doctor experience a plus.
  • No call, Full support staff.

  • NJ MD license is required and ACLS and PALS certified.

Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Leading Urgent Care center is searching for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in its clinic in Pompton Plains NJ. -The candidate must have at least 1 year urgent care or ER experience. -Part-time or full-time positions available-must be available to work some weekend shifts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Will be working with an MD as a second provider.
  • Ability to assess acuity of patients, to diagnose and treat common minor illnesses/conditions such as URI, UTI, sprains and strains, back pain, lacerations, abscesses, acute pain conditions, etc.
  • Industry leading compensation and Malpractice will be covered with an A rated policy.
  • No call, Full support staff.
  • Experience must include the ability to independently perform common minor procedures including suturing, splinting, draining abscesses, etc.

  • Current valid NJ state medical license
  • Have good clinical skills and bedside manner

Medical Assistant

We are seeking certified MAs or soon to be certified. MA and Front Desk experience preferred. Immediate Hire.

Job Duties

  • Assists providers in the examination and treatment of patients following established standards and practices, as directed by the physician.
  • Greet patients in waiting area, assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Obtain patient history; assess/triage patient, measure vital signs, and record information on chart.
  • Administer injections, ear irrigations, dress/bandage wound and incisions, draw blood, and assist physician with any procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, EKG and nebulizers.
  • Perform in house lab tests, draw blood and process specimens for send-out.
  • Complete medical chart to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.
  • Perform patient call backs, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.
  • Determine and collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, past due balances and other patient financial responsibility and maintain and balance cash drawer.
